I’ve been following FEMINIST GIANT for a while now, and I just wanted to say how much your words mean to me. Your fierce, unapologetic anger feels like oxygen some days — especially when it feels like the world wants us to stay quiet, polite, or broken.
I’m drawn to your writing because you refuse to dilute the rage — and you remind me that anger, especially feminist anger, can be a tool, not a weakness. You’ve also helped me rethink how protest shows up, not just in the streets, but in our words, bodies, and daily choices.
Thank you for keeping the fire lit. I hope to keep learning from your work and finding ways to channel that same defiance in my own spaces.
I’m curious about your perspective on this: how would you handle pro-MAGA folks in your family? I’ve tried the gentle approach (aiming for a discussion) and the angry approach (yelling and cussing at my brother-in-law on Christmas Day). Part of me wants to cut them out, but I also want to show my young nieces and nephews that there’s an alternative. I want them to know they have family that isn’t crazy, and that I’m here for them if they need out. (They’re between 1-11yrs old)
Tell me Mona how do you cultivate joy in your life whilst confronting the fuckery? Are you able to do the despair and rage as well as the joy?
Hi Mona,
I’ve been following FEMINIST GIANT for a while now, and I just wanted to say how much your words mean to me. Your fierce, unapologetic anger feels like oxygen some days — especially when it feels like the world wants us to stay quiet, polite, or broken.

Thank you for keeping the fire lit. I hope to keep learning from your work and finding ways to channel that same defiance in my own spaces.
In solidarity, Gigi
