I am childfree by choice. I am happy with the life I have created. I have never wondered what it would have been like to have children. I say that because we often hear “you’ll regret it when it’s too late.” Well, here I am on the other side -- it is “too late” -- and I am here to say: I do not regret it. What would the freedom to choose, for all, look like?
Thank you! 😊 I intend to enjoy every glorious moment of it. Growing older should be celebrated unapologetically. Our right to do things unconventionally should also be celebrated unapologetically.
I am also childfree by choice. Tomorrow I will celebrate my 50th birthday. I have no regrets despite the negative response I've often received. Life has to be lived on your own terms not someone else's expectations.
