There is beauty in feminism. It is not the conventional notion of beauty that skims the surface or that comes with “lipstick” as a prefix. I am unconcerned with your cosmetics bag. If we’re going to talk lipstick: it is the job of a feminist to keep lipstick away from patriarchy’s pig. The beauty in feminism is the beauty of purpose and a determination to dismantle all that keeps you from being free. It is the beauty of drive. There is beauty in knowing that you deserve to be free.
